Mr. Koehler has been a faculty member in Computer Information Systems at South Mountain Community College since 1989. His adjunct faculty experience began in 1984 and includes teaching for Rio Salado Community College, Scottsdale Community College, and the Arizona State University Computer Institute.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the College of Engineering of Northern Arizona University and a Master of Education in Educational Media and Computers from Arizona State University. He has served in a variety of capacities in Information Technology, including programming, analysis, consulting, network administration, training, and management. He has taught a variety of courses including computer literacy, office suites, programming, networking, and operating systems. His range of computer experience includes personal computers, servers, mainframes, and supercomputers. Current research endeavors include digital audio and the application of unit study methods to IT curriculum.
