TRIPLE CROWN AWARD, (2006), from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for completing three different endurance events: Marathon (Alaska 2003), Triathlon- (Tempe 2005), and One Hundred Mile Bike Race (El Tour De Tucson 2006)

SMCC Campus Art Installations
1995- “El Espiritu De Desierto” (15’ colored-clay mural on the west/central wall of the Learning Resource Center - completed with a team of student artists)
1999- “Quatro Animales Salvajes” (four 30” colored- clay relief ceramic works on the southwest corner of the Learning Research Center - completed solo)
2002- Entrance Doorway of the Learning Resource Center (20 ft. relief ceramic tiles of Sonoran Desert Birds and Lizards - completed solo)
2006- “A Brief History of Technology” (20’ High-Relief Sculpture on the Technology Building elevator - completed with a team of student artists)
