Lara Collins has more than thirty-five years of teaching experience. In addition to teaching for more than twenty-five years at SMCC, Professor Collins has also taught in China, Mexico, Chile, Taiwan, Peru, Canada, and Hawaii. She cares deeply about living a life of service -- to students and the community. When asked for her favorite aphorism, she said with a warm smile: "Be good to yourself."
